I finally got around to publishing the new site layout. Over the next few weeks,
I will start converting pages over to this format. Once in this format, it
should be easy to maintain from then on, as everything is built from modules, and
has a better style sheet.
This is my personal homepage. The 'ME' area is targeted at friends and acquaintences.
As such, it's pretty light-hearted. There is a blog, bio, car stuff; the usual.
The dev section is more business-oriented: code samples, toys I am working on;
a playground for code.
The map server section is a project I am working on in my free time to build an
interactive map of my sunday drives in the Texas hill country. The idea is to
take GPS point and time stamps as I drive, and plot them against the map. Once
you create an account, you can upload your times, too. You may overlay your
routes vs other users, compare times, and add pictures you have taken along the
route that are tied to a GPS point. But all in good time. For now, I am just
trying to get the CGI and php to be friendly with my hosting provider.
Contact contains forms for getting in touch with me and signing up for the
listserv.
